Benchwarmers

Ok, ladies and gentlemen, your first review is finally here! So a few weeks ago I saw the movie Benchwarmers. It was absolutely wonderful! The plot of the movie was a fairly good plot, although a lot of the action in the film was focused on getting a laugh. Rob Schneider plays the hero in this one. He does a great job. It's good to finally see him as a real hero and leading man. David Spade plays the usual character: uncool, full of himself, cynical. He does that role well. John Heder was probably the most typecast person in the whole film. It really sucks that since Napoleon Dynamite he always get the slow, idiot roles. But in true form, he did this role well. Probably my favorite character in the entire film is Howie Goodman, played by Nick Swardson. He was fricken hilarious! Only someone like me with a special place in their heart for the classically stupid could enjoy such a character. And I did!

Ok now for the all-time greatest moment in history! Cut to Craig Kilborn! Aaaaahhhh!!!!! This is the reason that movie will forever be ingrained in my head! I love Craig Kilborn, and I love him even more as a villain! Perfect role for him! He played it to perfection! Loved it! Nothing was better than seeing Craig Kilborn play an ass! So out of his normal character on The Late Late Show as the suave late night host. He did a splendid job!

All in all, I have to say that I give this movie four thumbs up. I know, you're asking, "Well, what is the rating system?" Well honestly, there are 5 thumbs. I know, 5 thumbs is kinda impossible. But it's my rating system, so whatever. I think that the only problems this movie had were the typecasting issues, but even these contributed to the likability of the movie! Good job, guys!
