Riot! by Paramore

So this summer I had the privilege of working at my favorite store ever... Hot Topic! It was amazing! I got to hear some of the world's best music, as well as some things that should never be categorized as music. Let me just say, of everything I've heard this summer one cd stuck out the most in my memory: Riot! by Paramore. Paramore is a pop punk band from Franklin, Tennessee. Lead Singer, Hayley Williams, is only 16 years old! Wow! But this 16-year-old fire-cracker has a voice like no other. I've never heard anyone sing music like this with so much feeling. Typically in the pop punk genre you don't get alot of feeling from the lead vocalists, but Hayley manages to make you believe she's going through everything she's singing about. I have to say this album touched me personally, as every song seemed to represent the array of emotions I went through this summer. Every song is beautifully written, every riff is expertly executed, and both come together to create some classic songs. I definitely recommend anyone who wants to hear some good music check it out!
